Playa Serena Golf Club

Just 25 minutes away on the A-7 highway you will find the Playa Serena Golf Club with an 18-hole course available all year round and in excellent condition. The course offers wide fairways, 9 lakes and greens well defended by carefully designed bunkers.

Rated as the flattest golf course in Spain, its layout is very comfortable and its main difficulty lies in the long holes and the design of the greens. The course meets the level required for the organization of competitions, having held, among others, several national circuit events.

The Club de Golf Playa Serena restaurant, managed by Jose Álvarez, offers a variety of à la carte dishes and specializes in a variety of rice dishes.

Aquatic sports

Sailing is one of the favourite sports for residents and visitors to Almerimar, not in vain does it have the largest marina in Almeria. There are several places where you can rent a boat, take sailing lessons and even take diving courses. You will find more information at:

Lake Victoria in Almerimar, with its 250 metres wide and more than a kilometre long, is an ideal place to practice sports in calm waters, such as rowing, canoeing or water skiing.
